Position Summary

Our Utility Cleaners play an important role in support of a number of vital hotel functions. These associates may work across departments (e.g., kitchen, food and beverage, laundry) to support cleaning needs. Responsibilities include:

1. Preparing fresh clean linen and spotless dining ware for guests.
2. Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools (e.g., dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, linen washers, and dryers).
3. Transporting dishware or linens across the hotel.

4. Ensuring professional appearance and communications.

Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards, develop and maintain positive working relationships with other employees and departments, support the team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to concerns. Responsibilities also include:

1. Reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to a manager.
2. Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
3. Standing, sitting, or walking for an extended period of time.
4. Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
5. Performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: No related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
License or Certification: None.
