Job description

Hiring: HSE Officer – Dubai

We are looking for a HSE Officer with extensive experience in high-rise projects to ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental standards on-site

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • At least 10 years of experience with high competency in HSE practices
  • Proven experience in various types of projects, including high-rise buildings
  • Must have completed Level 6 HSE certification (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent)

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure site occupational health, safety, and environmental management aligns with legal regulations, client SOPs, and company standards
  • Review contract documents for each construction package regarding safety requirements and procedures, advising the Resident Engineer on any deficiencies
  • Review and implement contractor safety procedures in compliance with legal and contractual requirements
  • Ensure all on-site activities follow approved safety procedures
  • Monitor contractor laborers’ adherence to safety protocols and report non-compliance to the relevant team
  • Conduct daily site inspections and issue non-compliance reports as necessary
  • Perform safety audits for contractors and subcontractors
  • Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare detailed reports
  • Participate in weekly, monthly, and executive safety meetings
