Job description

Summary:

Lead the achievement of procurement objectives by ensuring the company's vehicle, service, equipment, asset, and material needs are met at optimal cost, time, and highest quality through Sourcing, auctions, and supplier relations. Continuously monitor performance indicators, update and develop departmental policies, regulations, and procedures to address gaps, and provide reports and recommendations. Innovate and enhance Sourcing practices to establish company leadership locally and globally. Act as the primary liaison between the company and suppliers, ensuring seamless workflow coordination across DTC, and deliver timely reports to management.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and oversee the company's Sourcing and procurement plan, annual budget, and supply strategy in collaboration with all organizational units. Ensure alignment with business plans and operational goals to achieve commercial, financial, and operational objectives.
  • Update and refine policies, manuals, and the governance management system. Enhance Sourcing and procurement processes, including RFX management and supplier relationship management, to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Maintain and update the supplier’s database, ensuring accuracy and timely renewal. Develop and implement qualification models and oversee the supplier segmentation, performance rating and addition/ removal from preferred list.
  • Evaluate and optimize partnership-driven and strategic supply plans to streamline supplier relationships and minimize procurement costs. Conduct comprehensive total cost of ownership analyses and assessments.
  • Direct the sourcing process for all DTC requirements, overseeing proposal evaluations, negotiations, and awards to ensure fairness and transparency.
  • Implement effective inventory management strategies across warehouses, operating units, and supply sources to optimize stock levels and operational efficiency.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Master's degree in business or supply chain management preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement and sourcing.
  • Preferably holds certifications or has completed training from one or more of the following:
  • CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply)
  • PMI (Project Management Institute) - PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • CPPM (Certified Professional in Procurement Management)
