Global Head of Social Media

About the Role

Salt is partnering with a leading global brand to find an exceptional Head of Social Media. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic and creative leader with deep expertise in both Social Media strategy & Data driven insights.

As the Head of Social Media, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand’s digital presence, driving innovative social strategies, and delivering impactful campaigns that engage audiences and elevate the company’s online reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with brand and marketing goals.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and audience behaviors to drive fresh, engaging content.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage emerging platforms, formats, and influencer partnerships to enhance reach and engagement.

Campaign Management & Content Creation

  • Design and execute high-impact social media campaigns that drive engagement, brand awareness, and lead generation.
  • Work closely with creative teams to develop compelling multimedia content (videos, graphics, storytelling formats).
  • Maintain a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent messaging across platforms.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of social media professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Set clear objectives, provide ongoing coaching, and drive team performance to achieve best-in-class social media execution.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze key social media metrics, leveraging insights to optimize content and campaign strategies.
  • Provide detailed performance reports and data-driven recommendations to senior management.

Community Engagement & Brand Advocacy

  • Oversee audience interactions, ensuring a strong brand presence and fostering meaningful engagement.
  • Develop strategic collaborations with influencers, industry partners, and tourism stakeholders to amplify brand visibility.

Who You Are

Experience & Background

  • 10+ years of experience in social media management, with a strong background in FMCG, Luxury, Telco or Travel.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving social engagement and brand growth through digital platforms.

Skills & Expertise

  • Deep understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, etc.) and management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.).
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in extracting actionable insights from social media performance data.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and creative storytelling skills.
