What You’ll Do:

As an Estimation Engineer at AES, your role is essential in bringing our ambitious projects to life. You’ll be responsible for transforming detailed plans into accurate, competitive estimates and ensuring every aspect of our bids is on point. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Review Tender Documents: Scrutinize every tender document to ensure its complete and accurate, and request any additional documents needed for precise pricing.
• Coordinate with Suppliers: Send out inquiries for material prices (glass, steel, accessories, etc.), and build strong relationships with suppliers to secure the best value.
• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ): Dive into the details and prepare the BOQ based on the project scope—ensuring everything is quantified and accounted for.
• Technical Collaboration: Work closely with consultants, contractors, and clients to clear up any technical issues or discrepancies in plans and specifications.
• Cost Control: Keep prices up-to-date, track costs, and ensure that we’re always on target with our project budgets.
• Prepare Tender Submittals: Create comprehensive and compelling quotations, and submit them to contractors, consultants, or clients, all while ensuring we stand out as the preferred partner.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for someone with a passion for precision, detail, and innovative solutions. If you have:

• A Civil Engineering or Architectural degree
• More than 4 years of experience in Architectural/Façade Estimation
• In-depth knowledge of the Façade/Architectural Industry
• A solid ability to prepare BOQs and quantify from drawings
• Experience with modular/steel buildings (even better!)
• CAD proficiency for accurate drawing analysis
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teams and stakeholders
