aberdeen covers its Middle East & African clients from its regional office in Abu Dhabi, which is where this role is based.

About The Role

As the Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding aberdeen's presence in the Middle East & Africa region. This includes strengthening existing client relationships, developing new opportunities, and driving strategic initiatives to achieve growth.

Within this role, you will build and manage a number of aberdeen's client relationships in Kuwait and across the Middle East & Africa region.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Develop a deep understanding of aberdeen's investment products to effectively engage a diverse client base and showcase aberdeen's investment capabilities.
  • Identify growth opportunities and drive initiatives that align with regional and organizational goals.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as a trusted advisor, matching client investment needs with tailored propositions and product offerings.
  • Develop long-term partnerships with clients to ensure client satisfaction and enhance retention.
  • Oversee the management of relationships with key clients to support business growth and achieve targeted outcomes.

Strategic Planning

  • Develop and implement strategies to secure new growth opportunities.
  • Prepare specific business plans for Kuwait and proposals aimed at maximizing growth.

About The Candidate Requirements

  • Knowledge of the Kuwait investment landscape.
  • Experience of developing and implementing strategies to secure new growth opportunities.
  • Experience of developing long-term partnerships with clients to ensure client satisfaction and enhance retention.
  • Ability to provide accurate and actionable management reporting for internal stakeholders.
