Who You Are
The Center Director will be responsible for the overall management of all aspects of the Center, overseeing the planning and delivery of CIEE programs, managing and developing the Center’s core team, and ensuring the highest levels of quality and customer satisfaction for participants.

What You'll Do
The Center Director is responsible for the quality and success of CIEE programs in Abu Dhabi, ensuring excellent program quality and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:

• Academic Program: Ensure that the academic department meets its goals by overseeing internship opportunities, hiring and managing faculty, producing course syllabi, and managing academic matters of students.
• Student Services: Oversee the development of student services, including visas, orientations, and health, safety, and security protocols.
• Human Resources: Plan and execute a strategy to fill key positions for program delivery and operations.
• Health, Safety, and Security: Ensure compliance with CIEE standards.
• Program Evaluation: Manage student evaluation processes according to policies and protocols.
• Financial and Legal Management: Serve as managing director of the legal entity.
• Facilities and Student Housing Management: Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of facilities and student accommodations.
• External Relations: Develop strategies to increase awareness of CIEE’s mission and engage with stakeholders.
• Marketing: Support the production of promotional materials as needed.
• Other: Participate in conferences and perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring
Candidates should have a minimum of five years’ experience in a leadership role within study abroad or related higher education settings. A Ph.D. or a Master’s degree (or equivalent) is required. Desired skills include:

• Relevant work experience in Abu Dhabi.
• Proven ability to build and lead teams.
• Strong staff management skills.
• Experience in financial management and compliance.
• Exceptional student service and problem-solving skills.
